Meetings in October, November and December 2020 have been canceled. Our first priority besides the bees is our members and community. In an effort of staying safe and following local ordinances, the board has decided to cancel meetings for the remainder of the year. For most of 2020 we have been forced to host our meetings on zoom, but with low attendance and interest have decided to pause such means of education. The bees in our club apiary have been cared for throughout this pandemic, and we urge any member or interested community to reach out to us for tours and hands on educational experiences. We are doing what we feel is best at this time to keep everyone safe. Although we would love to have our monthly meetings in person, it is not feasible or ethical to do so at this time.
Thanks for visiting! This is the official website of Heritage Beekeepers. Anyone interested in honey bees, beekeeping and pollinators is encouraged to attend a meeting, regardless of location. We are blessed to have a great group from all over East TN, and would be honored for you to join us.
The best place to learn about us and our local pollinators is your local bee club. We would love to see you at our meetings! Each month we host an informative speaker, a pot luck dinner and fellowship, all for free. Hope to see you there!
Kind words are like honey.... (Proverbs 16:24)
We meet on the second Thursday of each month February-November at 306 East Main Street in Rogersville (The Shepherd's Center). Doors open at 6pm, with the meeting beginning at 6:30. Each month we host experienced speakers and a pot luck style dinner with a different theme each month. Everyone is always welcomed and encouraged to join us.
Come visit our club's award winning community apiary and pollinator garden for a FREE tour to learn more about beekeeping, planting for honey bees and local pollinators and meet your local beekeepers. Check out the "Community Apiary" page to learn more!
We follow this by:
In all we do - let it be from our hearts. For after all, It's about the bees who reside there.
Have an issue with honey bees? Whether you keep them, have questions, need a speaker at your next event or need someone to come get them- We love to help.
