Community Apiary and Pollinator Garden

All about the Education

Our Community Apiary and Pollinator Garden is the only one in upper east TN. Heritage Beekeepers proudly created this area to promote pollinator education. From plants to the beehives on site, there is something for everyone to learn. Free tours available.

Located on the historic Amis Mill property at 127 W. Bear Hollow Rd, Rogersville, TN.

Volunteer Opportunities

Local beekeepers take a second to strike a pose between inspecting the hives.

We are always looking to work shoulder to shoulder with anyone interested. Throughout the year, we host work days along side several other organizations that mutually share our ideas and goals. From the scouts to international beekeepers, local councils and other clubs, we strive to share our knowledge and continue to create something that can be mimicked throughout our community, state and nation.

Award Winning

We have teamed up with Bee Informed Partnership to monitor our hives at our apiary. We also work hand in hand with FLOW hive, Whole Kids Foundation, UT and more throughout the year to continuously improve research throughout our region. We are the first and only Community Apiary/Pollinator Garden in upper east TN.
